Watercolor – Historic 3-Bedroom in the Heart of Dunmore Town
Step back in time at Watercolor, a charming 18th-century home originally built in the late 1700s for a boat captain. Located in the heart of Harbour Island’s historic Dunmore Town—just one block from the harbour and a short walk to Pink Sand Beach—this island jewel combines history, privacy, and character in one unforgettable stay.
Watercolor offers three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and entrance, making it ideal for couples or friends traveling together. Please note: the bedrooms are not connected internally, so the home may not be suitable for families with small children.
Main House (Ground Floor): A cozy front parlor with TV, dining area, full bath, and a queen Murphy bed that doubles as a sitting room. A small but fully equipped kitchen opens onto the side deck with outdoor dining.
Main House (Second Floor): A spacious king bedroom with ensuite bath and access to the upper furnished deck. Continue up the spiral staircase to the widow’s walk rooftop perch with harbour views.
Bunk House: Once a boat house and later a candy shop, now transformed into a charming guest room with a built-in double bed plus a twin bunk above (note: no railing, not suitable for young children). Includes bathroom with outdoor shower/dressing area.
With three porches and decks, Watercolor offers plenty of places to relax and unwind. Dine al fresco on the side patio, sip cocktails on the upstairs deck, or take in sunset views from the widow’s walk.
